Alien Workshop, (sometimes referred to as AWS) is a skateboard company founded in October 1990, by Chris Carter, Mike Hill and Jimmy George. They are based out of Dayton (Ohio), a departure from the Californian-centric based skateboard industry. Fist skate-video of AWS „Memory Screen” was released in 1991. Alien Workshop produce decks, wheels, apparel, and other skateboard accessories. Brand is known for their artistic graphical style with themes of paranoia and futurism often used. Alien Workshop is owned and distributed by DNA Distribution, which also owns Habitat Skateboards and Reflex Bearings. On March 9, 2007, they started a new website AWS Filmworks to document their up coming video.
