About company
In early 2004, Jamie Thomas, having previously ridden for the footwear companies Emerica, Adio and C1RCA, proposed starting his own brand to the owners of DC Shoes, Ken Block and Damon Way. They agreed to back the brand financially, with Thomas heading the venture. Later that year, DC was acquired by Quiksilver. Quiksilver was interested in acquiring Fallen as well, but Thomas opted to retain the brand to keep it independent, and the company was moved to Black Box Distribution.
