VENTURE

Venture Trucks is a skateboarding company based in San Francisco, California, founded by Keith Cochrane, Fausto Vitello and Eric Swenson. Venture started out as a budget skateboard truck company in early 1980. Their first professional riders consisted of Eddie Reategui, Steve Rocco, and Mark Gonzales. After several different truck models throughout the 80's, Venture rose to prominence and market dominance in 1992 with the release of the Venture Featherlight truck, which was a lightweight, low profile truck designed specifically for street skating, which had become the dominant discipline. It has since been suceeded by the Featherlight II, and then the Superlight.
