About company
Founded in 1976, Vision Street Wear designed the early prototypes for what eventually became the modern skateboard. From that first year, it was clear that Vision Streetwear was something different. The Vision Pro Team represented some of the sickest and most innovative skaters at the time, including Mark Gonzalez, Lance Mountain, Tas Pappas, Duane Peters and Mark "Gator" Rogowski. In addition, Vision was the first brand to understand the natural connection between music and skate culture. Vision has always set itself apart from current trends. The brand embraces, in everything it does, the creative and independent attitude of skate and streetculture - the Originals line. On March 6, 2007, Vision Street Wear along with Airwalk were acquired by Payless Shoes.
